Revitalizing with 36 Breaths

This morning, I sat on the edge of my bed, gave myself a big hug, and did 36 exhales – 5 or 6 sets. I woke up feeling fatigued, with very low energy, and out of rhythm with the universe. Slowly, from the first exhale, through to the last, I experienced tension all over my body (my feet, legs, hips, shoulders, belly, neck, etc.) releasing and my breath becoming more rhythmic and regular. A sense of calm and relaxation come over me, and a feeling of relief and being more settled and hopeful. I felt extremely grateful for this simple practice and its life-enhancing nature!
