Jed Schwartz will be teaching a 5-Day Basic Seminar April 6-10, 2016 at the Andrew Jackson Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police, 440 Welshwood Dr, Nashville, TN 37211. The 5-Day Basic Seminar is the building block for becoming a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner (after completing three 5-day seminars, students receive a practitioner’s certificate).
Jed Schwartz has been a Physical Therapist since 1977 specializing in pediatric rehabilitation. He began studying Jin Shin Jyutsu in 1981 with Mary Burmeister and has been working with Jin Shin Jyutsu exclusively since 1987. He joined the faculty of Mary’s organization Jin Shin Jyutsu Inc, in 1995. Since then he has taught Jin Shin Jyutsu classes throughout North and South America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Jed maintains a full time JSJ practice that he splits between NYC and Woodstock, NY where he lives with his wife, Lois.

Class Hours
All Days: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.
On Days 2 – 4 there will be Body Reading (attendance is optional) at 8:30 am.
Material Covered
Part 1: The 26 Safety Energy Locks, the Trinity Flows, the concepts of Depths within the body, and the Physio-philosophy of Jin Shin Jyutsu.
Part 2: The 12 organ flows, the pulses, the Special Body flows, and how these contribute to harmonizing body, mind, and spirit.

Nursing CE Hours: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for California Board of Registered Nursing Provider #CEP 12032. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 30 CE hours (6 hours/day). The fee is $15.
California Board of Acupuncture CE Hours: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for California Board of Acupuncture Continuing Education Units – Provider #CEP 419. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 35 CE hours (7 hours/day). Fee is $15.
N.C.C.A.O.M. PDA points for Acupuncture and Asian Bodywork Therapists: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (N.C.C.A.O.M.) – Provider #ACHB-238. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 21 PDA points for Part 1, 14 PDA points for Part 2. No fee is charged.
N.C.B.T.M.B. Continuing Education hours for Massage Therapists certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for N.C.B.T.M.B. – Provider #285604-00. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 35 CE hours (7 hours/day). The fee is $10.
Letters of Verification are available for all students who need documentation for hours attended at any class. All of the provider numbers appear on this letter. Fee is $10.
Accommodations
MainStay Suites in Brentwood (107 Brentwood Blvd, Brentwood, TN, US, 37027, 615-371-8477) is offering a special rate of $89 for a single room and $99 for a double. The hotel is approximately 6 miles from the Andrew Jackson Lodge (class venue). All rooms include a fully-equipped kitchen. Please call the hotel directly to make a reservation, and ask for the Jin Shin Jyutsu rate. There are many other hotels at the same exit from Interstate 65.

Food and beverage
There is a fully equipped kitchen inside the class venue for those who would like to bring their own lunch. Please bring your own hot and/or cold beverage container if possible. Coffee, tea, and snacks are provided during class. Filtered (Pur water filter) and bottled water will be available.
Sunflower Cafe offers wonderful catered box lunches for those who are interested. When you register, kindly let Sarah know if you’d like to pre-order lunch, and I will send you the catering menu and more details.
