The 5-Day Basic Seminar is designed for those who want to study and practice Jin Shin Jyutsu and to apply the Art on themselves and others, being the testimony of this simple, profound Art of Living, made known to us by Mary Burmeister and Jiro Murai.
Carlos Gutterres is a Jin Shin Jyutsu 5-Day Basic and Now Know Myself instructor. He is from Brazil, was born and lives in Porto Alegre. As a young man, his keen interest in the mysteries of nature and human beings led him to study philosophy, psychology, numerology, astrology, Kabbalah, and many other forms of expression of ancient wisdom.
In the 1990s Carlos felt the need for a channel to express everything he had been studying. He then found the healing arts, first learning flower essence therapy and becoming a researcher and practitioner, then Reiki, and finally Jin Shin Jyutsu. He developed a flower essence system called Vida and authored the book, A New Purpose of Vibrational Healing. Since 2002 he has been dedicated to the study, practice, teaching, research and dissemination of Jin Shin Jyutsu in Brazil and around the world.

Class Fees & Dates
New students may take Part 1 alone, if taking the full class is not possible at this time. Review students may take either Part 1 or Part 2 separately.
Part 1: July 7, 8 and 9

Early registration and deposit of $100 will reserve your space. Minimum enrollment requirements must be met to hold the seminar otherwise cancellation may result with deposits refunded.
*Early Bird deadline (“EB”) is May 8, 2018 . Full payment must be received by this date to receive the discounted tuition rate. Student cancellations after this date will result in a $100 cancellation fee.
Standard tuition must be paid in full by the first day of class. Student cancellations after June 7, 2018 will result in a $100 cancellation fee.

Materials Covered
New students will receive Texts 1 and 2 at class.
Part 1: The 26 Safety Energy Locks, the Trinity Flows, the concepts of Depths within the body, and the Physio-philosophy of Jin Shin Jyutsu.
Part 2: The 12 organ flows, the pulses, the Special Body flows, and how these contribute to harmonizing body, mind, and spirit.

Continuing Education Credit
Nursing CE Hours: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for California Board of Registered Nursing Provider #CEP 12032. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 30 CE hours (6 hours/day). The fee is $15.
California Board of Acupuncture CE Hours: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for California Board of Acupuncture Continuing Education Units – Provider #CEP 419. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 35 CE hours (7 hours/day). Fee is $15.
N.C.C.A.O.M. PDA points for Acupuncture and Asian Bodywork Therapists: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (N.C.C.A.O.M.) – Provider #ACHB-238. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 21 PDA points for Part 1, 14 PDA points for Part 2. No fee is charged.
N.C.B.T.M.B. Continuing Education hours for Massage Therapists certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for N.C.B.T.M.B. – Provider #285604-00. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 35 CE hours (7 hours/day). Fee is $10.
Letters of Verification are available for all students who need documentation for hours attended at any class. All of the provider numbers appear on this letter. Fee is $15.
Food and Beverage
There will be a refrigerator and microwave available in the class space for those who would like to bring their own lunch. Please bring your own hot and/or cold beverage container if possible. Coffee, tea, water, and snacks are provided during class.
