The 5-Day Basic Seminar is designed for those who want to study and practice Jin Shin Jyutsu and to apply the Art on themselves and others, being the testimony of this simple, profound Art of Living, made known to us by Mary Burmeister and Jiro Murai.

Jill Marie Pasquinelli has been a student and practitioner since she began her studies with Mary Burmeister in 1982. She joined the faculty in 2002 and has been teaching 5-Day classes, Special Topics, mentoring and self-help classes worldwide.

Jill was born and raised in San Francisco, California.  Her first studies were in human biology and the study of animal behavior.  Later she changed her focus to pursue her passion in dance and theater arts. She graduated with a BA in Dance from Lone Mountain College.

Jill has also studied meditation, Tarot, writing  and various other body and movement awareness disciplines. This combined with her childhood dream of becoming a detective lead her to the discovery of Jin Shin Jyutsu.

Jill brings this enhanced awareness and curiosity into her teaching, sharing with students her delight in the Mysteries and discoveries of life, movement and energy. She has a particular interest in living life in accordance with nature, exploring life cycles and patterns that reside in both the Universe and in our bodies.

The experience of living through a life threatening illness twenty years ago led Jill to bring Jin Shin Jyutsu into a medical oncology practice. There she developed an integrative oncology program and treated patients in that setting for over eight years. This along with her own experience has given her a deeper understanding of the Art, both as a receiver and one who shares it through being in service to others.

Jill has learned there are no bad days. Instead she sees the stark realities of life with a sense of realism and humor. She loves living the questions.

Class Fees & Dates
New students may take Part 1 alone, if taking the full class is not possible at this time. Review students may take either Part 1 or Part 2 separately.

Part 1: July 11, 12 and 13
Part 2: July 14 and 15

Early registration and deposit of $200 will reserve your space.  Minimum enrollment requirements must be met to hold the seminar otherwise cancellation may result with deposits refunded.

*Early Bird deadline (“EB”) is Saturday, May 11, 2019 . Full payment must be received by this date to receive the discounted tuition rate.  Student cancellations after this date will result in a $200 cancellation fee.

Standard tuition must be paid in full by the first day of class.  Student cancellations after Monday, June 10, 2019 will result in a $200 cancellation fee.

Materials Covered
New students will receive Texts 1 and 2 at class.

Part 1: The 26 Safety Energy Locks, the Trinity Flows, the concepts of Depths within the body and the Physio-philosophy of Jin Shin Jyutsu.

Part 2: The 12 organ flows, the pulses, the Special Body flows and how these contribute to harmonizing body, mind, and spirit.

Certificates
Certificate of Completion after one 5-Day Seminar.
Student Practitioner Certificate after three 5-Day Seminars.

Continuing Education Credit
Nursing CE Hours: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for California Board of Registered Nursing Provider #CEP 12032. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 30 CE hours (6 hours/day). The fee is $15.

California Board of Acupuncture CE Hours: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for California Board of Acupuncture Continuing Education Units – Provider #CEP 419. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 35 CE hours (7 hours/day). Fee is $15.

N.C.C.A.O.M. PDA points for Acupuncture and Asian Bodywork Therapists: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (N.C.C.A.O.M.) – Provider #ACHB-238. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 21 PDA points for Part 1, 14 PDA points for Part 2. No fee is charged.

N.C.B.T.M.B. Continuing Education hours for Massage Therapists certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for N.C.B.T.M.B. – Provider #285604-00. The 5-Day Basic Seminar qualifies as 35 CE hours (7 hours/day). Fee is $10.

Letters of Verification are available for all students who need documentation for hours attended at any class. All of the provider numbers appear on this letter. Fee is $15.

Food and Beverage
There will be a refrigerator and microwave available for those who would like to bring their own lunch. Please bring your own hot and/or cold beverage container if possible.  Coffee, tea and water are provided during class.
